Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy concerns the processing of personal data of visitors to the website https://dental-prag.eu as such (technical operation of the website, contact form, cookies, analytics).

Information on how we process personal data in connection with the provision of healthcare services (medical records, patient bookings, billing, etc.) is set out separately in the document Information for Patients on the Processing of Personal Data.

What personal data we collect and why

Contact form

Our website features a contact/booking form through which you can contact us or book a treatment. Through the form, we collect the data you provide yourself — in particular your first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, and the content of your message or request.

We use this data solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry or booking and communicating with you. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries submitted through the website, or, where the form results in a booking for treatment, performance of the healthcare agreement (see Information for Patients on the Processing of Personal Data, Section III).

We retain data from the contact form for as long as necessary to handle your request, but no longer than one year from the date the form was submitted, unless the communication results in a patient–healthcare provider relationship, in which case the Information for Patients on the Processing of Personal Data applies.

Media

If images are uploaded in connection with the operation of the website (e.g. via a content management system), it is recommended to avoid uploading images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS), as this data may be identifiable by third parties from the image.

Cookies

Our website uses the following cookies:

  • Necessary (technical) cookies – used for the basic functioning of the website (e.g. remembering settings, technically enabling the contact form) and do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) – used to measure website traffic and user behaviour so that we can improve the website.
  • Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) – used to evaluate advertising effectiveness and, where applicable, to target advertising on social media.

Analytics and marketing cookies are stored only on the basis of your consent, given via the cookie banner displayed on your first visit to the website. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie banner settings, or via your web browser settings.

In connection with the use of Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, data may be transferred to a third country (USA), on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision (EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework), or, where applicable, on the basis of standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages may include embedded content from other websites (e.g. a map, a video). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited that other website directly — such websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content.

Analytics

See the Cookies section above. Data from Google Analytics is processed in anonymised/aggregated form for website traffic statistics purposes; no profiling of individual visitors takes place.

Who we share your data with

We may share personal data collected through the website with:

  • providers of technical services ensuring the operation of the website (hosting, website administration);
  • Google LLC, in connection with the use of Google Analytics;
  • Meta Platforms, Inc., in connection with the use of Meta Pixel;
  • in the case of a treatment booking, also with the persons referred to in the Information for Patients on the Processing of Personal Data, Section IV.

How long we retain your data

Data from the contact form is retained for the period set out above under “Contact form.” Data collected through analytics and marketing cookies is retained for the period set by the relevant cookie banner settings, but no longer than 24 months from storage, or until consent is withdrawn, whichever is earlier.

Your rights

You have the right to request information on what personal data we process about you in connection with the operation of the website, the right to have it corrected, restricted or erased, and the right to withdraw your consent to cookies at any time. A detailed list of rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, is set out in the Information for Patients on the Processing of Personal Data, Sections VI and VII, which applies, with the necessary modifications, to processing carried out in connection with the operation of the website.

Where we send your data

Data may, to the extent described above (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel), be transferred to a third country (USA) in the manner described in the Cookies section.

Your contact details

To exercise your rights or with any questions, you may contact us using the contact details set out in the “Who we are” section above.
